When we asked the very dynamic group of young people who work at the “Social Grocery” of Chalkida, they told us all about their needs and therefore we could not do better than to respond!
Thus Wise Greece went to the beautiful beach of Chalkida, in order to perform a special event at the old City Hall. There, everybody had the opportunity to taste the products that support Wise Greece, as well as to make their purchases for a good cause, since the profits obtained from the sales turned into food products and given with love to the “Social Grocery” of Chalkida.
That day even though the weather was not on our side, the warm welcome that we got from the people was more than enough! Μost importantly? Throughout this effort, we were all participants! The producers that support Wise Greece, the volunteers who helped us set up the event and of course all of you who purchased simple, everyday food that serves a very important purpose!
