Voskopoula Quince paste – Comfeto


The production of comfeto or otherwise known as the quince paste, starts from Kefallonia island, and in particular from the area of Palliki, where the most exquisite quinces are selected. They bake the fruit and once they are nice and golden brown they peel them and vigorously stir them in their copper cauldrons with spices and honey in order to make a marmalade. The final product consists of 100% fruit and zero preservatives and is stored in vacuum sealed packages, in order for it to be fresh and maintain its wonderful taste.
