Ingredients:
500gr minced beef
1 package of lasagna
1 jar of katiki cheese or other creamy cheese
1 jar of tomato-feta-chili sauce
2 ripe tomatoes grated
1 stick of celery, cut into pieces
1 carrot in slices
1 finely chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
500ml of water
A pinch of cinnamon
Chopped parsley
Gouda or Emmental cheese
Cooking Instructions:
Prepare the minced meat in a saucepan. Put the olive oil on high heat and add the garlic, onion, celery and carrot. Sauté for a few minutes and add the minced meat, which we sauté for about 5 minutes until caramelized. Then add the tomatoes, the Tomato-feta-chili sauce, salt, pepper, a pinch of cinnamon and the water and cover the pot. Let the minced meat boil for about 30 minutes on medium to high heat.
When the minced meat is ready, we proceed to the composition of the final dish. In a pan that we have oiled the bottom, we lay out the lasagna, add the minced meat and a few scattered spoonfuls of the katiki or cream cheese on top. We continue with subsequent layers until we fill the pan and we add the gouda or emmental cheese on top. We bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes with the pan covered with aluminum foil and another 30 minutes without the cover, to get a nice golden color. We serve after it cools down a bit with chopped parsley.
