Chicken drumsticks with garlic and herbs

If you don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen cooking, here’s an easy, very tasty and alternative chicken recipe! One more recipe for a good cause, using some of Wise Greece products.

8 chicken drumsticks
700gr baby potatoes with their skin, cut in half
¾ cup white wine
¾ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp. mustard
½ cup of chopped mixed herbs (rosemary, parsley, thyme & sage)
5-6 tbsp. Green and Blu olive oil with lemon
Wise Greece Exclusive Garlic Salt
Freshly grounded pepper

Cooking instructions:
Preheat the oven at 200°C. Wash the potatoes well and cut them in half. Put the chicken drumsticks in a bowl and add the garlic salt, the mustard and the wine and leave them in the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours. Next, place them in a pan and add the chicken broth, the herbs and potatoes, salt again with the garlic salt and pepper. Spread the lemon zest and cover with foil to bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Next, remove the foil and bake for another 45 minutes, while making sure to open the oven towards the end of cooking and coat the chicken with its liquids to make a crispy crust!
