1kg spinach
1 carrot
1 onion
1/4 tea spoon Tzekos herbs organic oregano
1 soup spoon Green n Blu olive oil with garlic
A pinch of salt and pepper
500gr Simply Greek Tomato-tsipouro sauce

Cooking instructions

Simmer the spinach until its volume is reduced, then add salt and pepper and let it cool. In the meantime, use the grater or the blender for the zucchinis and carrots and let them drain the liquids. Then in a large bowl add the oats, spinach, zucchini, olive oil with garlic, herbs, salt and pepper. Leave the mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour to stiffen. Afterwards, mold the meatballs, spread them on a baking tray and bake for about 1 hour at 200C. When they are ready leave them in order to cool down and in a skillet pour the tomato-tsipouro sauce. Add the cold meatballs for a quick boil with the sauce and serve immediately!

Wise Greece products we used:

* One sauce – Multiple uses: Sauces can be used as a marinade, but also as a spread, as a dip, as a pasta or meat sauce. So you can have one product in your cabinet and use it many times, for different dishes!

* Why use flavoured olive oil?It is much better to have less stuff in your kitchen! So instead of 2 cloves of garlic and olive oil – use olive oil flavoured with garlic to make the taste as discreet or as intense as you want.
