Wise Greece helps Greek food producers with small family businesses promote their products in Greece and abroad. The profit from the sales is used to purchase high-nutritional-value food for people living on the edge of poverty.
To date, Wise Greece collaborates with 100 small producers offering more than 2,500 products, exporting them to 8 countries, and has distributed over 210 tons of food to people in need.
Collaborations with Companies within the Framework of Corporate Social Responsibility
To maximize social impact, Wise Greece organizes programs with the support of major companies, aiming at raising awareness, offering support, and showing solidarity.
One of these is the “Hope Box” program, created to provide relief to people affected by ongoing crises in Greece. So far, this program has distributed 74.8 tons of food in collaboration with 22 companies and organizations.
Additionally, the “€0.01 Makes a Difference” program is implemented in various companies for a specific period, during which €0.01 from the sale of each product is allocated to Wise Greece. The collected amount is then converted into food for people in need. Through this program, over 22 tons of high-nutritional-value food have been donated in collaboration with and supported by 5 companies.
Educational Programs for Citizens Across Greece
Wise Greece also organizes educational programs to provide opportunities for citizens to develop their skills, especially those living and working in rural areas. The programs include online seminars with experienced trainers covering future business trends, digital tools, sustainability, employability, and more.
To date, more than 3,900 people have been trained, with 86% feeling ready to take new entrepreneurial steps and 97% believing they have gained valuable practical knowledge to face any professional challenge. Notably, a significant investment has been made in the younger generation, with 65.4% of participants aged 18-29.
Female-Oriented Collaborations
Wise Greece aims to provide opportunities for women in Greece to showcase their unique talents. As a result, 75% of its employees and 60% of its producers are women. Additionally, 69% of participants in educational programs and 82% of volunteers supporting the organization’s activities are women!

Wise Greece tirelessly contributes to achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2: Zero Hunger, Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
