Wise Greece organized the free educational program ”The Business of Food”.<\/p>\n

Interactive educational seminars were held, addressed to unemployed people, students and members of cooperatives, who wish to join the food production sector and get involved in the business world, thus making a new start in their lives!<\/p>\n

The seminars lasted an average of 4 hours and included speeches and workshops, presentations by famous chefs, trainings by experts in the field as well as mentoring by successful food producers.<\/p>\n

1,360 people from 200 places from all over Greece were benefited from the educational program “The Business of Food”!<\/p>\n

The program had a special focus on women, as their percentage reached 70% !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

*The project is used within the Active Citizens fund program, implemented by Wise Greece, under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Demography and Family Policy and Gender Equality. The Active Citizens Fund in Greece is supported through a \u20ac 12m grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as part of the EEA Grants 2014 \u2013 2021. The program aims to develop the sustainability and capacity of the civil society sector in Greece, and to strengthen its role in promoting and safeguarding democratic procedures, active citizenship and human rights. The Fund Operator for the Active Citizens Fund in Greece is Bodossaki Foundation in consortium with SolidarityNow.<\/em><\/p>\n
