A delicious salty cake with peppers and manouri cheese made with Wise Greece products\u00a0 for a good cause!<\/p>\n

The recipe was created by the food blogger\u00a0Ariadne Pylarinou<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0Deli in a Box<\/a>\u00a0who supports Wise Greece Initiative!<\/p>\n

INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

170 gr. cow butter (at room temperature)
\n60 ml. sunflower
\n140 ml. fresh milk 3.5% fat
\n2 eggs moderate
\n1 green pepper
\n3 slices of\u00a0manouri cheese in olive oil by Yam<\/a>
\n6 cherry tomatoes
\nsalt
\npepper
\n100 g. grated regato cheese
\n250 g.\u00a0all purpose flour
\n1 teaspoon baking powder<\/p>\n

Cooking instructions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Add the butter, sunflower oil, milk, eggs with salt and pepper in the mixer. Beat on medium-high speed for 1-2 minutes.<\/p>\n

Stop the mixer and add the chopped pepper, the manouri cheese, cherry tomatoes, cut in half and the regato. Mix with a spatula.<\/p>\n

Sift the flour with the baking powder and add to your main mixture. Continue stirring until all the solids are absorbed completely.<\/p>\n

Grease and lightly flour a long and narrow form, put the mixture in it, sprinkle with regato and cherry tomatoes and bake in 180 degrees (in air) for 50-60 minutes. At 50 minutes do the test with the toothpick and if it remains dry from the inside then the cake is ready. Let it cool down for two hours before serving.<\/p>\n
