This is why it is called \u201csubmarine\u201d sweet! But, in this recipe we are going to use this sweet, as an icing for our lavender cake!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time to cook for a good cause,<\/strong>\u00a0since with every Wise Greece product that you purchase and use in your daily cooking, you help us provide food to children and homeless in need.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\n210gr butter<br \/>\n95gr sugar<br \/>\n95gr lavender\u00a0honey<br \/>\n3 eggs<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp vanilla extract<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp soda<br \/>\n1 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n1 tsp lavender<br \/>\nzest of 1 lemon<br \/>\n180 ml. fresh milk<br \/>\n320 g. plain flour<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the glaze:<\/strong><br \/>\n8 spoons\u00a0of Bariamis\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.en.wisegreece.com\/product\/bariamis-submarine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">submarine sweet\u00a0<\/a><br \/>\n4 spoons\u00a0fresh milk<br \/>\npurple food coloring (edible)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking instructions<\/strong><br \/>\n1. In a bowl, add the butter and sugar together. Use\u00a0the\u00a0mixer on medium-high speed for 3\u2032-4 \u2018until you have a smooth mixture.<br \/>\n2. Add the eggs one by one and continue for a few more minutes. Sieve all the powders (flour, baking soda, salt) and add\u00a0them\u00a0to the mixture with the milk. Use the mixer\u00a0at low speed\u00a0until you have a smooth mixture.<br \/>\n3. Then add the lemon zest, vanilla and lavender and mix to integrate.<br \/>\n4. Grease with butter a classic form for\u00a0cakes.<br \/>\n5. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius for 40 \u2018- 50\u2032.<br \/>\n6. Take the cake out of the oven and\u00a0let it cool down. Now you can prepare the glaze. Melt the submarine sweet in a bain-marie and add the milk and the artificial color.
