Books of Hope

Books of Hope

How would you feel if you could send a book as a gift, along with a wish, to a child you don’t know personally but who is in a difficult situation or lives in an institution?

The idea behind the “Books of Hope” program was inspired by the need to provide books and school supplies to children in institutions or remote areas of Greece.

How does the program work?

Corporate volunteer teams supporting the program visit Wise House, a multifunctional space for volunteering, activities, and social contribution. Upon arrival, we warmly welcome and guide them through the space, sharing insights about our actions and mission. Then, participants move to a specially prepared area filled with books, where they collaborate to wrap each book individually in colorful packaging and ribbons, write personalized wishes, and prepare the books for delivery to children.

Through this initiative, children receiving the books feel they are receiving a thoughtful gift—rather than charity—while employees engage in a meaningful bonding activity that fills them with pride.
