Wise Greece, with the support of the TUI Care Foundation, is bringing the innovative TUI FutureShapers Greece program to Greece for the first time, which will be implemented over two years in our country. The aim is to support and promote the sectors of Tourism, Gastronomy, Culture, Natural Cosmetics, and Arts & Crafts, with an emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and creativity.
TUI FutureShapers Greece is divided into two programs, “IDEA” and “EMPOWER,” to offer unique opportunities for skill enhancement, networking, and business idea development for those interested in advancing professionally or entrepreneurially in these sectors.
The first phase of the program starts with “IDEA,” which will provide participants from all over Greece with free online educational content, filled with practical advice from “market experts” on how to develop their business ideas in the sectors of Tourism, Gastronomy, Culture, Natural Cosmetics, and Arts & Crafts.
The program will conclude with a two-day bootcamp in Athens, with all expenses covered for participants traveling from the provinces. During this event, the top ideas will be presented, and the two best ideas selected by the jury will receive cash prizes of €6,000 and €3,000 respectively to further develop their concepts! Through the EMPOWER program, the focus will be on six regions of Greece: Peloponnese, Epirus, Zakynthos, Corfu, the Cyclades, and Rhodes. In these areas, a team of experts and mentors will work closely with existing small producers, artisans, and entrepreneurs to enhance their digital skills, improve sales or customer service processes, assist them with promoting their services and products, and support the development of their businesses with a focus on sustainability. Additionally, throughout the duration of the program, events will be organized in these regions to highlight the local businesses participating, aiming to allow visitors to meet small entrepreneurs and be inspired by the wonderful creation stories they have to share.
