Maria Fragkoudaki, author of the book “Let’s Catch the Sky”, kindly donated 100 copies, which were delivered to the Keratsini‑Drapetsona Social Grocery as part of the Books of Hope initiative.
The book does not follow a conventional plot with a beginning, middle, and end. It is a tender, heartfelt collection of poems and songs for children, offering multiple levels of reading: simple and beautiful for children, yet also opening paths for conversation and reflection for adults. The combination of words and illustrations makes it a work that can truly touch the heart — not only through its story but also through its rhythm and emotion.
Thanks to this generous donation, the Books of Hope initiative by Wise Greece was carried out. Its mission is to spread joy and bring hope, love, and warmth to children and families in need. Through this initiative, children receive books wrapped in colorful paper and accompanied by lovingly written wishes.
This initiative reminds us that love and care are meant to be shared — that a book can become a bridge of joy, hope, and warmth for every child and every family.
