A jam with a chocolatey flavor, without added sugar, as the natural sweetness comes from the combination of carob honey and Cretan grapes. This jam received a commendation at the international citrus marmalade competition, “The Dalemain World Marmalade Awards,” held in England.
In my pot, I put love and memories from the cupboards of my childhood home, where petimezi (grape molasses) held a special place, and I combined them with the rich flavor of carob, the aroma of marjoram, and plenty of orange zest. The final product is authentically Cretan and environmentally friendly, with zero footprint on the planet. It is handmade using raw materials from my organic farm, and each package bears the registration number of my organic farming certification, as I am an active farmer and certified organic grower.
My goal is to mainly address visitors to my island, as it delights me to think that by choosing my products, they take with them the unique scents of the fragrant plain of Chania and bring them back to their homeland.
