The Hellenic Initiative supported Wise Greece’s program, turning the collected donations into Hope Boxes which contain basic food supplies of high nutritional value, for people in need.
Specifically, through the program we managed to offer 900 Hope Boxes to the Solidarity Center of the Municipality of Athens (KYADA), which correspond to more than 4.5 tons of food supplies, such as handmade jams, pasta, flour, legumes etc.
The Solidarity Center of the Municipality of Athens (KYADA) aims to provide care to its homeless population, to guests in the shelters and to citizens and families who live below the poverty line and are deprived of the basic resources to cope with their daily life.
