On the occasion of International Children’s Book Day, Wise House was transformed into a vibrant hub of giving. With your overwhelming contribution, we collected 922 children’s and young adult books, which are already being prepared to travel to the “Melissa” Girls’ Orphanage in Thessaloniki, the SOS Children’s Village Child & Family Support Center in Alexandroupoli, the Volos Orphanage, the Association of Large Families in Rafina, the Maroussi Social Grocery, Humanity Greece, and Library 4all in Athens.
From colorful fairy tales to exciting young adult novels, every book you donated is a window to the imagination and a tangible act of love for the children who need it most.
We would like to sincerely thank all of you who embraced this initiative and brought so many books to our premises, as well as OB Streem for their kind contribution to the transportation of the books to the institutions. Thanks to your participation, we are offering smiles and companionship to hundreds of children.
Together, we continue to support those in need, proving that collective action can make a difference.
