At Wise Greece, sustainability and social contribution are at the very core of our mission. It was a great pleasure and honor for us to attend the first major on-campus event of the Ocean Stewards initiative, titled “Ocean Stewards on Campus: An Evening Dedicated to the Deep Blue”, held at the ACG Events Hall of The American College of Greece (Deree).
The event, co-organized by the ACG Office of Sustainability, the Chatzigakis Foundation, and MEPP Environmental, offered a fantastic opportunity to bridge environmental awareness with leadership and action.
During the evening, the official presentation of the Ocean Stewards program took place, alongside the introduction of the new Ocean Stewards Collection, a unique line that embodies the alliance’s philosophy for protecting our oceans and tackling the impacts of climate change.
The event culminated in an open dialogue, where representatives from the academic community, the business sector, and civil society shared insights and proposals regarding sustainability, environmental conservation, and the future of the Blue Economy.
For all of us at Wise Greece, environmental protection and sustainable development are inextricably linked to the future of our planet. Participating in such impactful initiatives inspires us and reinforces our belief that positive change can only be achieved through collaboration and collective action!
