Tell us a bit about Nikolas and George from Ena Ena. How did you start, and what inspired you to work with food?
Nikolas Filippidis first connected with agricultural life during his childhood, having spent part of his early years in Akrata, Achaia. Later, during his university studies in Tourism Management, he explored Mediterranean cuisine and its raw ingredients. He chose to study the olive and its culinary applications—and it was love at first sight.
Together with his childhood friend and now business partner, George Moforis, they decided to fully immerse themselves in the production and processing of extra virgin olive oil. They saw a promising opportunity for both quality and growth in their places of origin: Ancient Olympia and Laconian Mani.
From the first year of operation, soil and olive oil analyses confirmed their belief in the exceptional potential of these regions, thanks to their unique terroir—the distinctive microclimatic and environmental conditions. Since then, they’ve continued investing in the land, expanding the area under their management every year.
Tell us a few words about the brand. What does it represent? Why did you create it?
The name Ena Ena (meaning “one by one” in Greek) reflects our commitment to every single stage of the process—from the olive tree to the very last bottle cap at our own packaging facility. Every product is carefully crafted, one step at a time—hence the name.
How did you get started? What challenges did you face?
We started in 2012, cultivating land inherited from our grandparents. Our biggest challenge was scaling up production while preserving the high and unique quality that the olive trees of Ancient Skillountia can naturally produce.
Tell us about your products. What makes them different?
It’s the love and dedication of our extended family members, all of whom are involved in the company. Our attention to detail throughout every stage—production, storage, packaging, and distribution—ensures the unique identity and quality of Hellenic Fields products.
Are there any products you particularly highlight?
Yes—Superior Organic is our pride and joy. It’s the result of years of study, experimentation, and obsessive focus on every detail of the production process. It embodies what we set out to offer the world: a food product of exceptional nutritional and gastronomic value, made to the highest possible standards.
Organic represents our desire to offer all households that value real food a high-quality, nutrient-rich staple—produced using certified organic and circular farming practices.
We are proud that, in just eleven years of operation, we have scaled production from 500 kg to 15 tons—without compromising quality in the slightest.
We also can’t overlook the blossoms of our aromatic herbs. As nature enthusiasts, we love the adventurous process of wild harvesting, and we’re thrilled to be able to package and share a piece of pure Greek nature in its finest form with the world.

Can Greek producers make a difference during a crisis?
Greek producers have always had the ability to create exceptional products, thanks to the generous gifts of our land. However, they must now adapt to the needs and standards of international professionals if they want to stand out and compete globally.
Why did you choose to participate in and support the Wise Greece Movement?
Because we believe that business today must give back and be socially responsible. We are already deeply committed to environmental responsibility—caring for the ecosystems we manage and using 100% recyclable packaging.
Our partnership with Wise Greece, which we are especially proud of, strengthens our mission to contribute meaningfully to society and act responsibly as a company.
