On April 30th, the Greek Post Office (ELTA) and KEDE co-organized a Conference about Social Entrepreneurship at the Benaki Museum. We had the opportunity to be informed about the aspects of Social Economy in Greece and abroad, and we were able to present Wise Greece as a best practice of Social Entrepreneurship, among many valuable Initiatives such as “Orange Grove” – Embassy of the Netherlands, the “Ergastiri“, a center that provides care to people with mental disabilities and the Social Partnership “Eu Zin“.
At the same time, we exchanged views on the opportunities and difficulties that Social Entrepreneurship faces in Greece and we analyzed the ways in which private initiative can collaborate with the public sector to achieve the best results, in order to deal with unemployment and promote social solidarity.
