Gourmet Burger with Black Bun and Caramelized Onions

A juicy, flavor-packed burger with caramelized onions, melted cheese, and all the right ingredients. From the very first bite, it’s pure guilt-free indulgence!

Ingredients

For the burgers:

2 black burger buns (made with activated charcoal or squid ink)
2 juicy beef patties (150–180g each)
4 slices of cheddar or other melty cheese
Lettuce leaves
4 slices of tomato
1 My Greek Pickles sweet & sour pickle, sliced
Roasted or caramelized peppers (optional)

For the caramelized onions:

1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Green & Blu classic balsamic vinegar

For the spread:

2 tbsp mayonnaise or burger sauce
1 tbsp mustard or BBQ sauce (optional)

Instructions

Caramelize the onions in a pan with butter or oil, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar until soft and golden. Grill the patties and melt the cheese on top. Warm up the burger buns.

Assemble the burger: spread mayo, add lettuce, place the patty with melted cheese, top with caramelized onions, tomato slices, pickles, and (if using) roasted peppers. Close the bun and serve.
