Two exclusive products received the highest award of taste!
Every year, the Great Taste Awards, also known as the “Oscars of Taste”, are being held in the UK. Nearly five hundred judges, chefs and taste experts try more than 10.000 products in a “blind” process to reward those that stand out for their unique flavor and originality.
For a second year in a row among the products that received the award, were two products from the exclusive Simply Greek for Wise Greece line, created for good cause! The judges’ comments were warm and enthusiastic for the two winners: Tomato-Mastic-Mint spread and Sweet and Sour sauce!
The Judges’ comments
Tomato-Mastic-Mint: Α rich color and unusual aroma and concept. Rich with tomato, it is well reduced and seasoned. Interesting and fresh on the palate!
Sweet and Sour sauce: Lovely bright and vibrant color with smoky notes of charred red pepper. The nuts give a little crunch and a very pleasant tasting relish!
Overall four products from the Simply Greek for Wise Greece range have received a Great Taste Award while three others received the Olymp Taste Award!
