On the occasion of World Environment Day, we participated in the in-person “SDGs Coffee Break” organized with the Ellaktor Group, where we had the opportunity to delve deeper into Goal No. 13: Climate Action.
World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5th and has been the main event of the UN since 1973 to inform the global public about environmental issues facing humanity.
The SDGs Coffee Breaks program is implemented by Wise Greece in collaboration with major companies, always online, with the aim of increasing awareness and motivating their employees around the UN Sustainable Development Goals (see more here).
This time, in celebration of World Environment Day, we held a live SDGs Coffee Break at the offices of the Ellaktor Group, where we had the opportunity to focus on Goal No. 13: Climate Action. The SDGs Ambassador for this month was the Vice President of the Board of Directors, Mr. Aris Xenofos, the keynote speaker was the professor of the Technical University of Crete, Dr. Konstantinos Komnitsas, while the event was coordinated by the Corporate and Marketing Communication Professional of the Ellaktor Group, Ms. Faye Chadiou, and the President of Wise Greece, Ms. Melina Taprantzi.
